JOB REPORT: Major Paint Mfr. In St. Louis, Missouri
Products Used: EZKleen #1 and Epoxishield.

This major paint manufacturer had problems; years of chemicals, solvents and paint had encrusted and soaked into the concrete floor and had damaged the concrete. The goal was to clean the concrete floor and coat it with a protective coating that would prevent this condition from re-occurring. This coating would need to be extremely resistant to chemicals and solvents and would have to not emit fumes that would harm personnel during the application process.
STEP #1 - CLEANUP
EZKleen #1 was applied after scraping and pressure washing the concrete substrate. The EZKleen was left on the surface for 24 hours and then pressure-washed. As can be seen to the left; years and years of accumulated solvents and chemicals were completely removed with EZKleen #1, enabling the applicators to work with a clean substrate for the applying of the protective coating. Most coating applications fail because of poor surface preparation but EZKleen eliminates that problem..

STEP #2 - APPLY PROTECTIVE COATING
The Epoxishield coating has been applied and yields a high gloss, non-skid floor that will protect this factory from solvent, chemical and paint byproduct attack. The customer is extremely pleased with this application and is already identifying other areas of the factory for future application with Epoxishield. Epoxishield can be brushed, rolled or applied with a squeegee. Epoxishield is 100% solids, which means that there are no fumes and work can proceed along with the application process. Epoxishield is the 100% solids version of Durakote. If spray application is needed, then specify Durakote for the same great results.
